I was skeptical about the quality because of the low price, but these scissors are great. I'm by no means a professional tailor, just started cutting my husband's and son's hair to save money. The scissors are very sharp (I cut myself not looking where my fingers were), but they have a nice blunt edge. Be sure to use a comb to grasp the hair because scissors cut through hair like butter. The finger holes are perfect for little hands and safe enough for me to trim my little one's unruly hair. Not sure if they are comfortable for big hands. The mixing scissors are awesome! I don't know many hair techniques, but the scissors seem to take very fluffy parts of the head (at the edges of the crown) and thin them out without taking off too much. Comes in a professional looking (art?) leather case. Conclusion: sharp but nicely blunt edges, perfect for smaller hands, great blending scissors, nice case. Probably not the best choice for big fingers
