I cut this key at Home Depot (luckily they do it for free) and it fits the ignition perfectly. I have followed the programming instructions that came with the dongle as well as the instructions in the user manual. curious that they are different. but none worked. I was researching Ford key programming online and found a statement that said. If the second working key was made by copying the programming of the first key rather than programming it in the machine (Ace Hardware does this, like many other places that cut keys), then this is a clone of the first key and the self-programming process will not work, since the machine thinks you are using the same key twice. So I don't know if that's true or not, but I couldn't program this key with two working keys and follow the instructions that came with it. So the statement that you only need two working keys may not be entirely true. So buyers beware. The fact that you have two working keys means you can program that key yourself.
