Remade my wired halogens - LOVE!

I did a lot of research before I switched my halogen spotlights to LEDs. The halogen bulbs got so hot they were expensive to replace. The washers are rigidly attached and the wires pass through the walls. At first I tried to use only LED bulbs in my old halogen washing machines, but it didn't work for long because you need a LED driver. I bought this kit and took the risk of cutting the existing wires, removing the old halogen driver and washers and connecting them to the existing wires. Since the LED's wattage is lower than my current wiring, I knew it wouldn't be dangerous. This kit comes with a LED driver and controller so it has everything I need. I've posted pictures of everything I've done in case anyone else wants to do the same. You must have a certain level of comfort and a moderate knowledge of electricity and as I am not an electrician I do not recommend this. I only write if it helps you decide. See my photos but to summarize my steps I removed the old driver and dimmer that was hard wired to the junction box in my office. I cut the wire going into this closet from all the puck lights. I cut the wire at each washer. I then wired the new LED driver and controller that came with this kit into my existing junction box. I cut the wires from all the new washers and connected them to my existing wire under my cabinets. I then connected one of the new extra wires to the wire that went in the closet and connected it to the new unit. Voila! Success! I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS! I love the 9 different dimming levels and the warmth of the light is perfect for my kitchen!
