I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with an Otterbox case. I just received this charger today and so far it is what I was hoping and expecting for the most part. It charges through the Otterbox case when the phone is placed on the stand vertically or horizontally (yes, I've tried both). I like the blue and green lights below, the green indicates it's actually charging. With my previous wireless charger, it was like a guessing game. I am considering upgrading phones to a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and if I do then this charger will also work with what I was looking for when choosing this charger. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my old charger gave up to 100% charge time so I pretty much knew how long the wait would be. This one doesn't. It's certainly not a deal breaker, but it's a feature I really liked and wished it had. It seems a bit slower than my previous charger, but that could just be me. The time will show.
