Theae do a great job
I have had the base and curlers for a number of years now. These are the best rollers I have ever used and I have been using hot rollers since the 60's! I sometimes admit that the reels overheat and melt at the base. Of course, they will have to be replaced later, but they are worth it. I have never tried heating with a hair dryer.
