I thought my wife needed a replacement for her old pumice stone that still worked but looked dated. (10-12 years old) The new one looked the same in design and size. She threw away the old one and was glad to get a new one. She only used her new pumice stone for a few minutes before the stone fell off completely. It was only held in place by a few tiny dots of glue. The pen hung in the shower for several days before being thrown away. In that short time, the handle developed two small cracks near the rope hole and one large crack that ran the full length of the brush. The wooden strip has come loose in several places. Many bristles fall out. I can honestly say that the only part that still looks good is the rope it hangs from. I don't write reviews and it seems silly to waste time on this as it was cheap and past my return window but it did so poorly what I thought it needed to do.
