I wasn't expecting much for the price but great for beach and driving
I bought these for a vacation and was not disappointed in their performance. I got the 2.5 magnification and it worked perfectly, I was able to read at the beach for the first time in a few years. As far as shading the sun, they aren't perfect, but they get the job done pretty well. I also used them for driving around and reading my phone gps in sunny weather and they perform well there too. Overall a good purchase for a decent price.
