I was looking for a curling iron to make my curls last longer. I first bought a Hot Tools micro curler but the curl was way smaller than my natural curl. I was going to buy 1/2 but the Hot Tools curling iron is $50 and I didn't want to spend a lot again. I stumbled across this curling iron and decided to give it a try and I'm sure glad I did! This is exactly what I needed! It makes perfect curls that match my curl pattern. Pros: heats up quickly. Comes with a great thermal protection glove. I also love the added feature of that velcro loop on the cord that allows you to fold the cord and secure with a stick. What most people don't realize is that wrapping cord around styling tools can result in ruining the cord and rendering the tool useless! Cons: The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the curling iron doesn't have a temperature setting. While I almost always run my curling iron on full power, for those of you with very fine or damaged hair, you should limit the amount of heat you put on your hair. Remember that viral video of the little girl curling her hair as she pulled the tool out of her head while her hair was still in the curler? This is my worst nightmare! Make sure you know your hair and never leave it on a hot tub for too long. Otherwise it's a great product and at only $27 it's well worth the money!
