I recently bought 3 of these beds for my 3 male guinea pigs. Within 4 days one of them came up with a URI. We showed the doctor a picture of our cage and they immediately said it was by the beds. As we all know, pigs like to pee and poop where they sleep. The problem with them is that there is only one end for ventilation. Therefore, moisture and ammonia build up in the bed and can quickly infect your guinea pig. We caught our sneezing early enough so it didn't turn into pneumonia. Beds were washed upon arrival and after 2 days of use. If you want to use them, I am willing to wash them daily for the health of your pets.
