Holding power isn't bad if we're just talking about a bare phone. It's not actually MagSafe certified, so you won't see a big circle on the screen when it's plugged into your phone and charging. I'm a gadget lover and I love little things like that to make sure it works as it should when you have a new product. I've only tried this product without a case and with a case that isn't MagSafe certified, so that's where my perspective comes from. Update - I was wrong, this product will charge you fully when plugged in. . It appears to be MagSafe certified.
