1. The most important thing is the boom arm. The boom of the microphone can be adjusted to the desired position and fixed securely. The distance from the mouth to the microphone is now constant and does not change during flight. You no longer have to bend the gooseneck. Really helpful! 2. The quality of the microphone is excellent even in a large piston airplane. My friends and colleagues say they hear me very clearly and better than the previous ones.3. The sound quality and noise reduction are excellent. I hear the conversation very clearly and I can also make out changes in the engine noise. But those engine sounds are soft and don't bother me. I assume the noise control is well balanced .4. ergonomics and comfort. The 5DX is easy to adjust over the head and easy to carry. After 10-15 minutes I stop paying attention to the headphones on my head during flights with glider tow (you have to constantly turn your head). In hot weather the DX5 wears well and the fleece overlay is great.5. A helpful tip: clip the headset cord to your shirt/jacket.
