I was so pleasantly surprised with this purchase. We're still in the middle of renovating our home and I didn't want to put a curtain or anything like that in our powder room because it's one of the last things we'll be renovating. I needed something to cover the bottom half of the window and I was tired of looking at the poster my mom had taped up so I decided to try this stuff. As long as you follow the instructions and measure correctly, it's that easy and works really great. I just love that there is no glue and it only works with static cling with soapy water. Be very generous with water! Throw a towel on the floor and just get to work—the more you spray, the better. If your edges look like they're lifting, simply dampen them with soapy water. If that still doesn't work, make sure they don't overlap the edges of the window. I had an issue where the edge of the film slightly touched the edge of the sealant, preventing it from sticking to spots on the window along the edge. I just cut a little with a sharp utility knife (while it was still at the window - be careful and move slowly - it's a lot easier and MUCH more accurate than taking it off and starting over or cutting it with scissors ) and this problem is solved. Don't pay attention to the missing casing around the window in the photo - it's still a repair! :)
