This scrapbooking concept offers crossover possibilities

As a quilter, I like to use something from the world of scrapbooking. (You guys have the coolest stuff!) When I discovered this art sticky paper I was sure I could use it with fabric someday. Sometimes I use paper templates to transfer small designs. The problem is that plain paper is flimsy, rips, creases, and shifts all over the place unless pinned, and even then I can never get the exact shape I want (because the needles distort the pattern and fabric). This kraft paper is sticky enough to stick to fabric without needles. It stays in place long enough to trace the pattern and is strong enough for my marker to stick well to the edge. The only problem is that it can only be reused for a limited number of uses on fabric. The fabric tends to reduce adhesion, leaving tiny fluffy lint on the paper. Also, the backing paper is very difficult (for me) to peel off. The beginning is difficult for me. This craft paper is very suitable for quilting templates. I'm glad to borrow another idea from the good folks in the scrapbooking world.
