I'm a Mac snob and have never worn a MacBook case. But I just bought a new 2020 MacBook Pro and wanted it to be free of external scratches, so I reluctantly went looking. This case was perfect and I'm so glad I bought it. It has a very cool look and texture and it took a bit of mental gymnastics to figure out how to put it on, but it fits perfectly. Without smell. No complaints at all. I showed it to a friend and he said "oh what a pity it didn't come with a keyboard case" BUT there was a keyboard case! It's so minimal that it's not visible at all. Good product.
