This is a standard 2" receiver connector and is exactly what I needed. I don't tow my truck often, so my receiver is heavily exposed. However, if I'm towing something, it's good to know I have a receiver plug that stays in place! Love the versatility, that I can easily open and close it once it's attached to the receiver. I know I'm not going to put it anywhere and then I'll have to get a new one when I get there, where am I going. It has a port on the bottom where it connects to the receiver so you can run cables through it if needed. I don't need this option but it's an added bonus. Good product.
