I worked in the catering trade for many years, then owned a kennel for 14 years. So washing the floor was not only often necessary, but also a health requirement. I doubt that this mop can withstand this level of cleaning, but based on my experience, I have always been aware that in all situations with a mop, no matter how hard you try, after the first dip in the mop bucket, you just dip the mop in dirty water and spread it out on the ground again. So you have to use harsh chemicals to actually kill the germs, but the brown water is still on the bottom. Wringer mops were a good effort, but you have to dunk the mop in dirty water and then just dry it before using it. This will make the mop drier but not cleaner. However, this mop never comes into contact with dirty water! I'm so happy that I can clean our entire house (90% of the tiles) and not have to pour dirty water on the floor. You don't even have to use chemicals. We use a natural lavender cleaner so kids and dogs are safe but the floor smells nice. The two setups I would probably do are wheels because you have to carry it from place to place and a bigger bucket so you don't have to change it often. Our house has about 2,000 square feet of tile, so there's a lot of floors to sweep. If you have a small house or small garden, this mop alone is perfect. The best part is that for the price it is very similar to spinning mops on the internet. So you're not even paying more for a much better mop. The only way we'll ever use another mop is if someone improves on this design.
