*Most* tools are well made and durable. Unfortunately, the most important part is missing. The scraper blade is so thin that it deforms after scooping up less than two dozen dough. This worked about 15 times and then all of a sudden it became very difficult to press and the dough would not push out. Shovel to cut off the dough. But instead it sits about 2mm from the surface, meaning it should "cut through" the dough rather than slicing it. And when it hits the chocolate chips, which I think it did, all the pressure is focused on one point on the blade, causing it to deform and requiring even more effort. So if you never make chocolate chip cookies, nuts or other bits in it, this scoop really might do the trick. But if the blade gets into something, it will definitely fail.
