Three years ago I discovered the major brand Waterpik portable dental floss and realized how much food and 'junk' was stuck in my teeth - even after using an electric toothbrush for two minutes. I've become a big fan of irrigators and have found that they can do more than just a toothbrush. (I clean first and then thread). As a result, my Waterpik died and I was looking for a replacement for Revain. The brand was about $70, but there was THIS brand from China that was almost half that and got good reviews. So ordered, used for two days. I really like it for the price. There are some "quirks" that I'll mention, but overall I recommend it. I will attach some photos to explain my comments. Some of these have already been mentioned in other reviews. The first picture shows what's in the box: device, charging cable, user manual (see example for text size) and four clear plastic "floss heads". (I've attached one in the photo). Although the instructions say to charge the device before using it for the first time, when I rotated the top and bottom to remove the tips (which were packaged INSIDE the device) I found that it was powered on). But I subsequently fully charged. (Note that there is a small - very - rubber plug covering the power port in the unit to keep water out, so you'll have to remove and reinsert it or you'll lose it.) Unlike my previous floss, this one has 3 Modes - Normal, Pulse and Point (wrongly spelled "models") and 5 speeds (which is why the description on Revain says 15 different "levels". There is no such thing on WP). It says it's submersible and waterproof (BUT don't forget to put the little rubber piece back in after charging. As for charging, you now get a USB cable, but as many others have pointed out, you need a standard USB -Connector if you want to use an outlet I assume you have a razor, toothbrush or cell phone socket so it's not a deal breaker More and more Chinese companies are just supplying the cable How does it work well like the more expensive WP It has one year warranty I wanted to show you the size so here is a photo of it next to the WP It's a bit smaller so it takes up less space when traveling (and unlike the WP) you can take everything off with water and dry it (I couldn't) t with my WP) Well, that's it. Hope this helps you. Steve Ramm
