I bought 3 of these: 2 for the fridge/freezer and 1 for the freezer. As soon as I received it, I placed them in my house next to an expensive and extremely accurate digital thermometer and left them there overnight. I took readings the next morning and all three were within 1 degree of the digital thermometer, which read 64.2 degrees. One of these thermometers read 63 degrees, the second 64 degrees, and the third 65 degrees. Very accurate. I then placed the thermometers in the fridge and freezer and monitored the readings for the past few days. They showed consistent readings every day and allowed me to adjust the temperature settings in my fridge and freezer to achieve my desired temperature: 38 degrees in the fridge and -4 degrees in the freezers. The thermometers are well made of stainless steel, easy to read and the right size. The price is worth it IMHO.
