A good coat is a must for our pit mixes. I spent a lot of money just to save money on cheaper coats and finally realized it's not worth it. Our dogs wear them on hikes, camping, playing and chasing critters in the bushes and they hold up great. Our first dog has had her for about a year now. Both dogs seem much happier outside when it's cold or snowing. Our younger dog loves to run and jump in big snowdrifts so the bottom half of her coat often gets wet but dries quickly and as the top half is insulated and doesn't get wet it never bothered her. the brindle is medium and our 45lb tan girl is small. At first I found the small size too tight, but after a few days it stretched enough and now it's perfect.
