I got this mount because it was said it would work with a pop jack. I have an iPhone XS Max with a case and port, and finding a decent mount just for the phone was a challenge. I was a bit skeptical that this mount would be as good as it promised, but it surprised me! Not only does my phone fit snugly in the case and attached pop socket, it is extremely secure. The clip that holds it to my bike is strong and easy to install. The rubber grips hold my phone securely without bouncing, even when I'm riding my e-bike at over 20 mph through rugged city streets. I've been using this mount for about a month now and I'm not at all worried about my phone becoming loose or shaking enough to break the screen. The phone is simply inserted into the holder and easily removed. Even at high speeds and rough roads, the clamp on the handlebar does not loosen. I would have no hesitation in using this mount for off-road mountain biking. This is definitely the best phone mount I've ever bought (and there have been many over the years).
