The collars appear to work well but the collar itself is so slippery that it slips down the dog's neck when he shakes his head . No matter how much I move them, they move. One of my dogs can turn it off when trying to scratch his neck, so it's annoying. It was difficult to trim and only had flaps at the top so it would be nice to have some sort of belt clip to keep the collar strap down. I have to make sure it is turned upside down and placed under the dog's neck before they go outside each time. If they try to take it off it means it's turned and not making good contact so I have to go outside and turn the collar and make sure it's still there. I bought them because I live on a half acre lot and my dogs love to dig and pounce on squirrels. I've been working on training them and that was the last option for us. I love that it has a vibration mode instead of just shock and different levels. The lighting feature doesn't even work over it, so I don't know why it's even there the way it's configured. Overall it's a great idea, but it needs some work on a few areas to make it a key idea for us.
