Review on 💅 Portable UV LED Nail Lamp for Gel Polish - Melodysusie UV Light for Nails, Ideal for Travel, Home, School, Office - Suitable for Acrylic and Gel (White) by Dawn Wilson

**I would like to preface this review by saying that this is my first time applying gel polish myself and I have never used any other gel lamp so I am not comparing MelodySusie can to anything else. ** The nail lamp arrived immediately, well packaged and with all the necessary parts. I was surprised at how cute the packaging was considering I paid $9 for it! The lamp itself is very small and very light. The power cord is also very light and feels almost cheap (as expected - $9 again!) but surprisingly long. The length of the cord is slightly shorter than my arm span, which was a pleasant surprise. For reference, I used OPI ProHealth as a base and top coat and OPI GelColor in Bubble Bath on my nails (note: the polish is a bit translucent, so the opacity has nothing to do with the lamp!). It healed very quickly, but just in case I left my nails under the light for a full minute each time. I wasn't sure whether or not to clean the surface of the nail with alcohol between coats of polish, but it got nice just by removing the last top coat. I've found that it's best to draw four fingers under the lamp at a time, and then sketch two after it. I also used the lamp to paint my toenails. The fingers are harder to fit under the lamp (I had to dry each coat multiple times at different angles to get it to cure properly) but after some adjustment they cured beautifully. This lamp exceeded my expectations. The fact that I was able to get a successful manicure and pedicure on the first try is amazing and I cannot recommend this lamp highly enough.
