This new Stone River Gear Magnesiun Fire Starter, Striker, Knife Sharpener is a very important piece of survival gear. It's an essential part of my essential survival kit that I always carry with me when I'm on land, hunting, fishing or exploring with my snowmobiles. When fishing, I keep my hook with a carabiner in my tackle box for easy access to my knife and hook sharpener. This product works great when I need to sharpen hooks. Blunt hooks are the reason so many fish are lost in combat. Also, it works great for giving my fillet knife a nice edge when I'm working on fish.
