Review on Li SUN Digitizer Replacement Adhesive Without Tablet Replacement Parts by Joseph Lang

This screen was installed on a 6th gen iPAD A1839. The screen was delivered quickly and was easy to install. I moved the home button and replaced some of the pre-applied adhesive. The pre-taped glue was fine, but one side wasn't straight, it was set wavy and wasn't making full contact with the frame, so I took it off and replaced it with what I had on hand from a previous project. I connected the screen and LCD then checked and everything seemed fully functional so I finished placing the screen on the frame and tried again. Numbers 1-3 stopped working. I tried several times until it stalled, so I removed the new screen to find out what was wrong. If you look at the pictures, you can see the original screen above, the replacement below. The original design has room for the 6th Gen aluminum frame overhang, the new one has no room and you can see where the ribbon cable is pinched. I believe the cause of the error is a design flaw. I returned this screen and bought another one with the original ribbon cable spacing for a proper install.
