I have a Samsung T5 SSD in my case - the cables don't fit, I'm using the stock cables

I read a review from a guy that he was able to push/bend the two cables that came with the device, if the last name Dude Copperfield could be. Has anyone seen one of the falls that is slightly larger? I'm worried that going to a larger package will negate the protection a drive offers in a small package? I think a few more cables in the bag, almost need a separate cable bag!
