I'm sure this is a good product for other uses, but as a cat deterrent it doesn't work. I've been using Scratch Not tape to protect a carpeted corner that for some reason my cat just love to destroy and it works fine. I decided to try this one because the roll is bigger and I'd get more for my buck, but I had to return it. The tape didn't stay in place for more than 5 minutes. I saw someone else's review complaining about the same thing. Maybe it works on wood furniture, but with carpet and sofas, forget it.
