This bag seems to fit the bill. I haven't had it for too long (maybe 2 weeks now) so time will tell. I trained almost every day - usually 5 swings at a time, 3 to 5 reps; usually 2 to 4 times a day - with no obvious issues or issues. I filled it with an old king size comforter, an old king size bed sheet and some pillowcases. My wife wasn't thrilled that I used the linens, although we planned to throw them away and I saved them as a possible tablecloth for later. After hitting it about a dozen times, I got stuck in another hand. Maybe a little more padding would do. The bag is pressed against the sofa in our den. What I did was rotate the bag after two hits just to make sure I was wearing it down evenly. bumping into it, which might be overkill for a golfer hitting it too hard, but I didn't find the noise too loud as my wife never mentioned she could hear it in the bedroom.
