I have a $10 desktop fan from Walmart that blows faster than this one (obviously USB powered). I would have thought that filling the top with water would have a greater cooling effect, but that's not the case. Water lasts up to three or more days depending on usage. With constant water consumption, it took 24 hours. It just doesn't seem effective to me. The usability is okay, but the buttons are quite sensitive. When first turned on, it starts at full power and then drops to the slowest speed.
