Review on 🔧 UHS24 Universal Humidifier Solenoid Valve 24 Volt by Pirmeswift - Compatible with HE220, HE225, HE260 by Raden Maldonado

The old one didn't turn off the water because a hole was rubbed in the inner wall between the entrance and exit. It was several years old and has a pin sized hole that allowed water to flow around the solenoid. The new Universal works, but the fittings don't restrict water flow in any way, so I poured a lot of water through the filter, wasting water. I replaced the inlet fitting with the old one with the choke hole and now I have better flow. I believe the hole size is 1/16 inch. This magnet was a lot cheaper than others with the same caveat, so using the old part should do fine for years. It would be nice if a constraint on the features of this electromagnet could be offered out of the box.
