Love the fan and the lights. Not just a fan of remote control. Thought it could be installed on the wall with a light switch. The remote control works great, but such devices seem to be disappearing from our homes at an amazing rate. Since it is more a personnel error than a manufacturing error, I cannot fault the company. The metal parts and blades are visually elegant. The glass is frosted creamy on top and dark brown on the bottom, not that pretty in photos but decent. Very quiet at any speed. We will try 3W LED bulbs (25W US). We've found that the included bulbs (1W) work well with candlelight (if you like soft light) but aren't great for everyday use. Normal American 40 watt light bulbs are actually too bright with 5 bulbs as they project the light directly downwards. I hope the 3 watt LED will be just right. All in all a nice looking fan. Update: If you leave the light on, a wall switch can be used.
