Compared to other purple and gold fabrics, it looks more orange than gold. That in itself isn't a huge problem, although you should look at the "to scale" comparison of purple and gold. (I'm trying to match shades for a Renaissance costume.) The skirt itself is soft and comfortable to wear as a skirt or dress. In the backlight of the sun, however, it is slightly transparent. Also, there are a few threads sticking out that make it look more worn.
