What you don't like about these books for children. My nephew will love if I get these books to keep him busy during his visits. Bright colors, soft material and most importantly, ponytails! So cute and funny he has something to grab and hold on to. The textures are stimulating, as is the rustling of pages. These books are a good weight and quite large - very nicely made, no bindings or fraying. Haven't had to wash them yet but I think they hand wash fine as I wash all baby clothes. The "spine" of the book has Velcro so you can attach it to a stroller or car seat. I'm not sure the tiny velcro (same on both books) will hold a toy of this size to anything, and I also think the edges of the velcro are a bit sharp so I'll remove them before he reaches them. A two-pack for $18.99 or one for $11.99 is a pretty good deal.
