This is great! Smells slightly lemony but not sweet, a bit like baby aspirin lol but the smell is pleasant and not overpowering. The texture is hard to describe - it's thick and perhaps best described as "gooey" but not slimy. It's thick and luxurious. You just have to apply a little bit to your hair; I have long thick hair and use about two quarter size drops. Run through wet or damp hair and comb through, detangling curls and leaving hair alone. You'll find your curls are well defined, dewy and not frizzy at all. The product can be a little stiff, but if you shake your hair, the stiffness goes away. This product does not flake at all. I am also allergic to many gels and foams (perfume causes scalp problems) but no problems at all with this product. I'm picky about hair products, I've tried a million of them. I will buy it again!
