For a long time I was not a fan of applying lipstick in general. The lower lip is always crusted or cracked, probably because it is more plump than the upper lip and it always gets more. She painted her lips only with gloss until she found out about Carmex! Now I take only the classic in a stick, but I tried different ones both in a tube and in a jar. As I apply it, instead of a scrub, I steam my lips in the shower, then wipe off all the crusts with a towel and apply Carmex for half an hour or at least 20 minutes. After that, my lips become smooth, soft and you can even risk applying matte lipstick. When the lipstick comes off, I most often use an ordinary balm, then everything is fine with the appearance of the lips. Carmex does not have a cumulative effect, it only works on the lips for now, as soon as it is erased - the same dryness and crusts appear again.
