I love these towels for many reasons, most notably their ability to quickly absorb a lot of water from my long, thick hair and dry quickly. I've looked everywhere for textured towels like this, I don't like thick or soft towels and they are perfect for all tasks! These towels are flimsy, but they really absorb moisture and take up little space in the washing machine. I can put twice as many towels in the wash and the drying time in the dryer is much faster than my old towels. People who like thick and fluffy towels should look elsewhere; That's why I think there are negative reviews. I love the texture, the ability to absorb a lot of water, their ability to dry so quickly and how little space they take up in my washer and dryer. I never use fabric softener as it affects the absorbency of towels. If you like the rougher texture of your towels, you might find these towels as comfortable to use and wash as I do. I just bought a second batch but my first few years ago are still like new. Great towels!
