Review on Enhanced Agility Synthesis Flex by Merrell - J066303 by Zach Spangler

Merrell is one of my favorites this century (besides Asics). They're always well made and so comfortable they never need a break. You abide by this rule. The midfoot is the perfect width (not narrow for me as others have complained) and I have a wide foot. They are particularly light and breathable with good grip. And oh I think they look good. So why only 4 stars? Merrell shoes offer less support and minimal tilt. That's why? nope Is it because it's a hybrid that's not just for the trails (with a harder ride)? nope They are known to be more durable and flexible than other Merrells (Google reviews). It's actually five stars for me (Best Merrell). because I only paid $65 for it (this happened a lot throughout the life of some paints). Set up and receive a Camel^3 notification for $65. I would never buy Salomon (like the highly rated SENSE 4 PRO) or Nike (Pegaus Trail 2) just because they are oddly uncomfortable to me. I've loved New Balance for a long time, but they aren't that durable. Sigh. Asics Gel Venture are the best models under $40. For $100 I would have preferred Hoka or Merrell Mnt Long Sky. For $65 you must have a pair of these. IMHO. Update: upgraded to 5 stars after the first 50 miles. OMG, these are great shoes. You make me feel ten years younger. The profile does well on rough terrain (but also well on city trails) - very impressive. The 8mm drop absorbs most of the impact. Light, agile and stable - more like barefoot feeling, but no trail feeling. I felt safer than expected. I like the roomier toe box (why I don't like other brands). This shoe exceeded my initial expectations. The heel fits well (snaps in) with excellent support. Great everyday runner. Now I regret not buying two for $65. Set up a Camel^3 alarm to catch another. Highly recommended.
