Review on ๐Ÿ“บ Top-Rated Kanto T3760 Tilting Mount: Perfect Fit for 37-inch to 60-inch TVs by David Hashman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Even though the TV only weighs 70 pounds, this mount might seem like overkill. No wonder

TV: 57" wide x 34" high. 70 pounds. 600 X 400 VESA The last thing I wanted to do was watch TV and wonder if it would fall off the wall. Even though the TV only weighs 70 pounds, this mount might seem like overkill. There's a good reason for that. I'm paranoid about the TV coming off the wall. I looked at mounts with 150 load limits, which seemed sufficient. The problem with these smaller mounts is that they're only about 29-30 inches wide. If you have 16" studs in the center you will have to move the bracket a few inches off center (assuming the stud is dead in the wall, I have it) to hit 2 studs. Bolts are required. Offset is not a big issue. The bracket is a few inches tall but I had an issue with only 1 screw in each stud holding the bracket. Also, these mounts tend to be thinner metal and only a few inches tall. A smaller mount would probably fit well enough, but like I said, I'm paranoid. I want to KNOW that TV isn't going anywhere. Only 3 things can ease my paranoia: First, I need a 3-stud mount. Second, I need 2 lag screws in each stud. Thick metal bracket. The Kanto mount was perfect for putting the demons to sleep. Very easy to understand instructions. Straight line on the guide. Easy alignment. Literally close to level. The lower part of the attachment with a spring-loaded clip. a plus. Attractive end caps. Although this mount is huge, it doesn't look out of place when viewed from the side. I would not recommend this mount for a TV that is much narrower than my 57 inch TV. Then you might notice. With my existing setup, the mount sits about 7 inches from the edge of the TV on each side. This is about what you need. IMHO. Other than that, it's an absolute beast of a mount. I sleep well knowing my TV will never fall.
