The bearing was the right size, the bracket was better than the original design and it saved me from having to use the entire Having to replace Shop-Vac. It appears to be a quality product - time will tell its durability - and arrived as promised. To fix the problem you'll have to disassemble the entire vacuum cleaner, but that's not too difficult and certainly better than buying a replacement!
