I was ready to throw away the last gas cartridge I bought to fill up my garden tractor. I was able to detach the whole spout and fill it with petrol, but other than that I couldn't empty the original design tank no matter what I did. I didn't expect it to work but I ordered it because for the price it was worth a try. This spout was easy to put on and now I can actually use the gas canister. A vent would still be nice, but I can move this spout up and down to allow air into the canister. The little red cap that everyone is complaining about I can put on the other side of the filler neck and it won't get in. on road.
