Review on 🛢️ Tribology Tech Lube 752436100044 FG HD Cart: High-Temperature Lubrication at Its Best by Robert Berio

Bought this product to lubricate oven sleeve bearings. Proven vegetable oil and food-safe mineral oil. Both ideas were bad as they both smoked, gave off bad odors and eventually solidified at oven temperature. After cleaning the struts I lubricated the Clear Gold FG-HD bearings and it worked! No smoke or odor up to 475 degrees Fahrenheit. Started smoking and smelling at 500 degrees but I don't need an oven to heat it up for normal cooking so this product suits me. I have looked at several other so called high temperature greases and oils and this one beats all the others for my application. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the smoke and smell at 500 degrees when the company says it will run up to 575. Overall a great product and I would recommend it to others. In addition to my previous review, I would like to add that at normal oven temperature this fat has an odor, but it is not as objectionable as the smell of vegetable or mineral oil. The grease continues to effectively lubricate the rack bearings despite the smell. I wish it didn't smell, but I couldn't find another product that worked at all, so I guess I have to live with that. For this reason I am reducing my rating to three stars.
