I've seen several reviews saying this works great with the CST854 toilet. This applies IF you use one of two simple workarounds. The correct model (as stated in another review) is THU453.10C-A or THU451.10A-A. The only difference between the two models is the height of the fill tube (the tube that the small hose inside the tank goes into). The height for this model is less than 6 inches, while the correct model's stuffing tube is 7.125 inches! You might not think that an extra inch matters, but it does. Because the correct model's fill tube is taller, the cistern can be filled an inch higher, allowing the toilet to be fully flushed and the cistern filled properly. Preparation for the next mission. This model flushes normally, but the bowl does not fill properly after flushing. As I said before, there are two possible workarounds that will make this model work perfectly. Both are pretty basic. Simply hold the flush handle for 1.5 seconds while flushing instead of squeezing and immediately releasing the handle. This allows the water in the reservoir to drain for an additional 1.5 seconds. Therefore, it takes a little longer to refill the tank, which allows the bowl to fill to the required level. 2. The second workaround I used was to take the old valve gear I had removed and use a saw to cut 1-1/4" (1.25") from the top of the old one cut off the filling tube. I then used 2" wide waterproof tape to simply tape the "extension" from the old tube to the top of the new stuffing tube, making a tube just over 7" tall. I then adjusted the tank's level to 1/4" (0.25") of the extended tube. This takes a little longer to fill the tank after flushing and allows the tank to be filled sufficiently, as in the other cases described above. The difference lies in the flushing of the toilet. The handle can be pushed in and immediately released instead of holding the handle down as in the previous workaround. than 15 minutes. And this flushing mechanism works MUCH better than the old one with the standard damper valve. The old one was leaking badly, although I changed the damper several times. This one doesn't drip at all. Does this work on a CST854? YES, with a few workarounds. If you don't want to do this, first choose the right model with a longer filler neck. The only reason I got this model is because Revain didn't have another. But with the work around it, it works like a champ.
