I usually wear a 12 or 13 (but usually only for boots when wearing thick socks). The 12's were tight, but the 13's fitted perfectly. I was looking for a waterproof Gore-Tex hiking shoe that felt more like a tennis shoe than a boot. I don't walk much, but I do visit the southeastern United States often. I wanted a versatile outdoor shoe that would keep my feet dry. Before I had a pair of sneakers, they were mostly short boots. They weren't light, never felt nimble, and felt heavy at the end of the day. These Adidas have solved all these problems. They are not as soft as running shoes but retain the feeling of lightness and mobility throughout the day. The soles creak quite a bit on hard indoor surfaces but seem to have good traction on wet surfaces. After about 6 weeks of use, I felt more confident than before on wet, rocky surfaces.
