40-GM20 vs 40-GM10 confusion

I bought this adapter to use during an aftermarket radio installation in my 2003 GMC Yukon. Based on the Metra website I could use a 40GM-20 or 40GM-10 adapter. Well, it turns out that 40GM-20 does not work. This adapter is designed for non-original antenna coaxial cable. Also, the pin end of this adapter wasn't long enough to fit in the Pioneer radio I was installing. The connector end has a right angle connector and meets the radio frame before the connection is made. The male coax end of the 40GM-10 is much longer and fits the radio perfectly. Most GM vehicles with standard antenna wire should use 40GM-10. However, the quality of the adapter appeared to be excellent. I can't say anything about the function. I just wanted to write this review to hopefully clear up any possible confusion for future buyers.
