I just won't use regular dental floss for 2 and 4 year olds. It's not just about teaching kids to floss, but that it really is necessary. My 2 and 4 year olds don't have many teeth close enough to actually need flossing. Only one pair per child. But we've been using them every day for over a year now. I get a 6 pack subscription and keep the floss packs and it's pennies each. They really work like dental floss, I use them myself sometimes. But more importantly, I use them as training to help my kids learn that flossing is an integral part of brushing their teeth so they can do it themselves as they get older.
