The autofeed function rarely works well without it. When I fold a stack of paper, it often runs for a very long time, but ends up leaving a lot of unshredded pages. Sometimes he mangled some of the remaining pages; In other cases, it is not clear why he quit. At this point you can change the position of the pages and try again, or just give up and feed the pages manually. Maybe if I upload a stack of pristine, never used sheets of paper it could work. I don't know as I haven't tried this experiment yet. In practice, the autofeed feature doesn't seem worth the hassle to me.
