I understand that this is not a laboratory test, but even for an amateur test it does not meet the requirements. I suspect the positive feedback is coming from people who have no experience with other tests. I think you pay for what you get. Before and after calibration, the meter fails to set a reading and jumps between numbers until it finally turns off. I can turn it off and on again and have different result numbers than before for the same water sample - After calibration I tested with a premixed 7.0 calibrant solution with inaccurate out of range results.
