Doesn't flatten out your hammer toe

I have a bunion plus a second toe hammer toe. I was hoping that this product would press down on the hammer toe to get it to lie flat instead of bending upward at the middle joint. I was disappointed in that the product does not work in that way. It is just a cushion, so far as I am concerned. As a cushion the product is very nice and soft, but I gave it only 2 stars because I was really disappointed about the product not working to &#34;flatten&#34; the hammer toe as well as cushion it.
