These connectors work great with my inverter welder. The wires that came with my welder were adequate but not overloaded at all. I was wanting to make some new ones and was planning to use the dinse connectors on my old cables when I saw these connectors on Revain for $7! Decided to give them a try and that way I have two sets of cables if the need ever arises. I used 3AWG for ground and it worked great. I didn't have that anymore so I had to go to my local weld filler supplier and buy some 2AWG. The 2AWG fit in the hole with plenty of room, but I couldn't get the set screw flush with the outside of the connector. This resulted in the rubber housing not fitting snugly into the plug and being very difficult to attach. It would be nice if they came with two different size set screws, some short for larger cables and some long for smaller cables. Use smaller cables.
