Used for the first time last weekend and they worked great. While not required, an optional 30-foot extension is useful if you're camping in an area where you need to move the panels more than 10 feet to get the sun. However, I didn't use it and the panels fully charged my batteries every day. I intentionally left the lights on and used the battery power indefinitely, leaving the generator at home just to see how these panels would perform. You were wonderful. They are perfectly packed, foldable in the middle with carrying handle and soft case. I love her.
